Why does youtube suck?

It is tax time, are you prepared? Get help now free!

YouTube is owned by Google and Google does endless market research. So why do they not know YouTube has serious issues and fix it? Or is YouTube just another one of Google’s experiments on the people?

1) When replying to a comment: sometimes in goes to the top of the comments instead of underneath them.

2) Everyone in the world wants to chose their own video thumbnails (still images for your video), but noooooooooo- you have to chose from three videos that YouTube selects from 3 different points of the song. (The slap in the face is when they change the thumbnail points just so you can’t time your still image)

3) Support… Not only is there little to none (even for paying advertisers), you can’t even log into the forums to get it! Why don’t they just use a regular vBulletin forum or something?

4) Censorship: Do I really need to go into this one? Seriously, Google owns YouTube, but Google search isn’t censored? (At least, they give you the option to turn off SafeSearch)

5) AudioSwap: Why in the world can I not use my own audio? HELLO?So much creative potential thrown down the drain. :( s

6) You can’t update a video. You can only upload a new one and lose your views/comments/external links.

7) Stop compressing my audio. It’s already compressed enough. Sure, YouTube is a video community, but why give me the option to select a MUSIC category if it compresses the audio? Idiots… Idiots.

8) CAPTCHA: They’re almost impossible.

9) You can’t post links. Not even to other youtube videos.

10) YouTube tries to beat my spam filters. OK, if anyone has AdBlock installed, they’re obviously not your target audience. These type of people chose what they buy based around the fact that it’s not advertised. Can you dig?

11) There’s so much more, (especially technical issues) but I’m going to stop here. The worst problem of them all is that Google doesn’t consider that YouTube has issues, therefore, they can’t do anything to resolve them.

Seriously. One must question why a company with endless resources to data can miss the mark so hard. Do they not care? Are they doing it on purpose as a market research study?
