About Me
I have been around computers all my life. When I was little, my dad was interested in computers. Thus an Uber Geek was born. I remember his old Tandy Commodore, which is now a piece of history. When I got into middle school, my passion for computers grew. I taught myself HTML from online tutorials and books.
When high school came around, I began programming in Visual Basic making many programs just for fun. My junior and senior year of high school I took CISCO Networking. I did very well in it, and it came naturally for a computer geek like myself. My senior year I took an A+ course along with the second year of CISCO. I now have Web Design, Programming, Networking, and Computer Hardware/Software under my belt, before I even graduated high school.
I have always been the go-to-guy for computer questions and problems. I have repaired many computers for friends and family. By now, some of you are wondering what I do for a living? He must be a programmer for Microsoft or something. Actually no. I am currently a Maintenance Technician for Fujicolor Processing. I used to want to be a programmer or web designer, but then I realized it isn’t what I want to do for a living. Computers are my hobby, my passion. Just like people enjoy watching TV, drawing, or sewing. I get on the computer to get away and have fun. If it was my job, I would have no desire to get on a computer outside of work, thus taking away my hobby. Then what would I do?? The only difference between me and someone else who gets on the computer for fun is the things I do on it. I make programs and web sites. I don’t get on here to IM, chat on LiveJournal, hangout on myspace or any of that. I sit down and look at code, it is what I enjoy.
Now I am a family man. I am engaged and getting married this June. My fiance and I have a beautiful little girl. I would say we are pretty successful for being so young. We already have a house and everything else. I am the happiest I have ever been, and living the life I have dreamed about. A beautiful woman by my side, and our beautiful little girl, knowing we are on the right path. I am truly blessed!
